These terms and conditions govern your use of our medical fitness assessment services. By booking an appointment, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Services Offered
We offer medical fitness assessments to determine if candidates meet the specific medical standards required for deployment and work in certain geographical areas, particularly within the maritime and offshore oil and gas industries.
3. Regulatory Bodies and Standards
Maritime: Our assessments comply with the medical fitness standards set by the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) and national regulations, such as the MCA in the UK.
Offshore Oil and Gas: We follow the medical fitness standards established by the Offshore Operators Group (OGUK/OEUK).

4. Candidate Eligibility
Our services are available to any individual seeking a medical fitness assessment for the relevant industries. You must be of legal age and provide accurate and complete information during the booking process and assessment.
5. Assessment Process
Review of Medical History: You will be required to complete a medical questionnaire and provide any relevant medical records.
Physical Examination: A qualified medical practitioner will conduct a comprehensive physical examination.
Additional Tests: Depending on the industry and individual factors, additional tests such as ECG, Blood test, Chest X ray, Chester step step test etc may be required at additional fees.
6. Decision-making and Appeals
Pass or Fail: While we assess against established standards, passing the assessment is not guaranteed. The decision rests with you meeting the minimal medical fitness standards for your industry during your assessment.
Additional Information: The doctor may request further information or tests before reaching a final decision, potentially delaying the results.
Appeals: You have the right to appeal the doctor’s decision directly to the relevant regulatory body, whose details will be provided on your medical certificate.
7. Liability and Disclaimer
Delay in Decision: Neither the clinic nor the doctor accepts responsibility for any loss or damage caused by delays in reaching a final decision.
Failing the Assessment: We shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from a candidate failing the assessment.
Professional Opinions: The doctor’s decisions are based on their professional judgment and interpretation of relevant medical standards.
8. Data Privacy and Confidentiality
We are committed to protecting your privacy and will handle your medical information with the utmost confidentiality, in accordance with all applicable data protection laws.
9. Payment and Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Full payment is required before the assessment appointment. Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will result in a non-refundable fee.
Cancellations are subject to a £5 administration fee.
All cancellations must be made before or up to 06:00 pm of the day before your appointment date.No cancellation will be accepted after this time, and it will be considered a no-show.
No refund will be provided for a no-show.
Please allow 10 working days for the refund to be processed
Rescheduling
If you wish to reschedule your appointment, you may do so for free.
All requests for rescheduling must be made before or up to 06:00 pm of the day before your appointment date. We regret to inform you that we will not accept reschedule requests after this time.
